IUL, or indexed universal life, has really taken off over the past few years.  With the combination of baby boomers hitting retirement age, the large amount of uninsured American’s, along with the realization that universal life can provide forms of income as well as a death benefit, some could say a perfect storm exists in the IUL marketplace.  Now although universal life insurance is far from new, the concept of indexed universal life is somewhat new in the big scheme of life insurance.   And here at Life Insurance Think Tank, we are starting to get the question, “Who are the top insurance carriers for indexed universal life?”.
